About Tasara

Tasara has over 35 years experience working in the metaphysical worlds. She began using magical, earth-based practices as a solitary witch in the late 80’s. Then she started her training in Core Neo-Shamanic methods in 1997 at the Foundation for Shamanic Studies.

Tasara has studied with many loving, devoted shamanic healers: Janine Ellison, Leslie Conton, John Lawrence, Besty Bergstrom, Sandra Ingerman, Tom Cowan, Anank Nunink Nunkai from Ecuador, Miguel Kavlin from Bolivia, Isa Gucciardi, Bhola Banstola from Nepal, Sangoma John Lockley from South Africa, Christiana Harle from Finland.

For decades, Tasara organized public ceremony and taught neo-shamanic spiritual courses. She drew sacred musicians and dancers together. She opened her home to circles of people for many years. It was a really good time and there was much to be grateful for.

She took a respite for a few years and wrote her book which was published in 2019, The Ancient Bones of Ceremony: Remembering the Heartfelt Ways.

In 2022, she completed her M.Ed in Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Future courses will use these new skills to present more robust learning and sacred experiences for those seeking to further their spiritual path.

In 2023, Tasara was initiated into the 13th House Mystery School in Victoria B.C. as a black cord priestess.
